Neither the Fiji men's nor women's national volleyball teams know whether they'll be taking part in the Oceania Zonal Championships in Porirua next week because they're still awaiting their travel visas.
Both teams are due to leave Nadi on Saturday morning but as of Friday evening, New Zealand Immigration in Suva has still not issued the visas.
The Fiji women are scheduled to play Tonga on Monday in the opening round of games while the Fiji men are to meet New Zealand in matchday two, next Wednesday.
Officials of both teams are reluctant to make any comment because they feel that could jeopardise their chances of a favourable answer from the Immigration service.
No comments could be obtained from the immigration service as it closed for business
early on friday afternoon and only reopens on Monday morning.
