Palau has won two awards at a Marine Diving Fair in Japan.
Yumie Morishita of the Palau Visitors Authority says that Palau placed second to Maldives in the Best Diving Area category.
Palau Pacific Resort also bagged the first place as Best Overseas Diving Resort, Overseas.
The Palau Horizon reports that it's the resort's ninth straight consecutive victory in the category.
Morishita said more than 50,000 people attended the annual Marien Diving Fair which was held at Ikebukuro,Tokyo.
10-tour operators and hoteliers from Palau attended the fair.
The Roadshow is a joint marketing effort between Continental Airlines in Japan, Palau Visitors Authority and the Palau tour operators and hoteliers.
