The opening of another resort in Fiji is increasing the challenges for the tourism sector to fill rooms.

The multi million dollar Natadola resort on golf course, which was officially opened at the weekend, will have 400 rooms when it is finished.

The Chairman of Fiji Tourism, Patrick Wong, says the industry must continue to look for new ways to sell Fiji

"So the challenges are there as far as getting visitor arrivals into Fiji, even increasing visitor arrivals we have got a lot more rooms to fill and I guess it's getting as wide a cross section of product to offer to the international market."
