Samoa Government looks at prisoners' complaints.

The Samoa Government has instructed the Ministry of Police to investigate conditions at the country's two prisons, at Tafaigata and Vai'a'ata, after a mass break out yesterday.

All the prisoners are now back in custody, but they hadd indicated they had concerns with the state of the cells in Tafaigata and the quality of the rations they are fed.

The acting police commissioner and senior officers have met with the prisoners.

Assistant commissioner, Papalii Li'o, says their concerns over rations as well as the conditions of cells will be looked at.
