A 44 year old Samoa man has been sentenced to jail for sixteen years after admitting fifteen sex charges including thirteen counts of rape and two of indecently assaulting his daughter.
The victim was 13 years old at the time of the offences between April and August last year.
The Supreme Court in Samoa has suggested parliamentarians review the penalties that are imposed after crimes such as incest.
