Pacific Government officials are this week discussing security issues in meetings at the Forum offices in Suva.
Today, a Working Group on Counter-Terrorism has been meeting for detailed discussions on domestic and regional counter-terrorism activities that have been undertaken in the Pacific.
The meeting aims to ensure the Pacific is able to overcome terrorism in a coordinated and effective manner.
On Thursday and Friday, the Forum Regional Security Committee meets to discuss issues such as transnational crime, counter-terrorism, conflict prevention and other security issues.
