The Board of Directors of American Samoa's Visitors Bureau has selected a Chief Executive Officer for the Bureau but hasn't disclosed the person's identity.
KHJ News understands that the selected applicant is a New Zealand based Samoan with extensive experience in the tourism industry.
The new Visitors Bureau will have an operating budget of $200,000.
