An Australian based NGO is taking issue with the call from the interim Fiji leader, Commodore Frank Bainimarama, for the international community to assist his Government as he laid out what he calls a roadmap towards elections in five years.
The Commodore says Fiji is seeking dialogue and doesn't want to be isolated.
But the Fiji Democracy and Freedom Movement's, Usaia Waqatairewa, says it has been the Commodore who has severed ties, by not attending the last two Pacific Islands Forum leaders meetings and obstructing the sessions of the Forum's Contact Group in Suva.
"Based from experiences in the past dealing with him, all those problems with dialogue is just a total charade to prolong his own quest to stay in power as long as he can."
