The Samoan women will be hoping to make it into the squad to play Australia next month in Oceania's Rugby Qualifier to the 2010 Women's Rugby World Cup to be held in London.
The trials wil be held in Auckland this weekend and forwards coach Peter Fatialofa says they will select players to fit all areas
"Make sure that we have at team that can compete in the scrums and the lineouts in the breakdowns and obvously we need some players in the backs so we can take opportunities that that the fowards create and just have someone in the backs the first five running the show and make sure its got a lot of experience."
Samoa will host the match set to take place on 7 August 2009.
