The Solomon Islands has received 300 thousand US dollars from Taiwan in assistance towards the government's fee-free basic education programme.
Prime Minister, Dr Derek Sikua says education assistance will go a long way in the development of human resources in Solomon Islands.
The assistance is the second tranche of the fee-free education grant.
