Three countries vying to host South Pacific Games

The Pacific Games Council will visit Papua New Guinea to inspect their bid and facilities before putting together a detailed report and deciding on the venue for the 2015 Pacific Games.

PGC Chairman, Vidhya Lakhan says they have visited Solomon Islands and Tonga who are also bidding to host the 2015 games.

Lakhan says PNG should provide a good go as they had hosted a successful games in 1991.

Tonga and the Solomon Islands have both never hosted a full games but only the Mini games.

The PGC will vote on the 2015 venue in September.
