The secretary-general of the Commonwealth Secretariat, Kamalesh Sharma, has arrived in the Solomon Islands for a three-day visit.
Mr Sharma is to discuss key issues for the Commonwealth Heads of Government 2009 meeting with the Solomons Prime Minister Derek Sikua.
He is also expected to give the keynote address at an event to mark International Youth Day in Honiara.
