In the playoff for 9th and 10th, Fiji defeated Trinidad and Tobago 52-46.
Samoa beat Barbadoes 51-39 to finish 11th and Wales beat Singapore 50-39 for 13th place.
In the playoff for 15th, Malaysia beat Papua New Guinea 62-34.
The matches to decide the top eight are today, including the final between New Zealand and Australia and Cook Islands taking on Malawi for fifth and sixth places.
