The New Zealand Governor-General, Sir Anand Satyanand, and his wife are to make a state visit to Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands next week.
In Papua New Guinea, they will meet the Prime Minister Sir Michael Somare, lay a wreath at the Bomana War Cemetery and visit a number of aid projects.
In Solomon Islands, they will meet the Prime Minister Derek Sikua and RAMSI Task Force personnel, and visit World War Two battlegrounds and cemeteries, and aid projects.
