Australian man dies after feeling unwell on PNG Kokoda Track

A second Australian has died within a week while walking the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea.

55-year-old Phillip Brunskill, died from a suspected heart attack after he began having difficulty.

The trek leader determined Mr Brunskill was not fit enough for the trek and recommended he return to Port Moresby.

Mr Brunskill died about halfway into the 40km drive to hospital in Port Moresby.
