Police teams in Fiji are preparing to be deployed in all centers to ensure people are adhering to the laws and road rules during the Hindu Festival of Lights, Diwali.
Fiji Village quotes the Deputy Director Police Operations, Erami Raibe, as saying police presence will be beefed up over the next four days as people celebrate the Diwali long weekend.
Extra police patrol will also be provided on the roads to try and ensure an incident free celebration.
