Six Uighurs released from Guantanamo Bay arrive in Palau

Six Chinese ethnic Uighurs who have been released from the United States military prison at Guantanamo Bay have arrived in Palau.

The men, from the China's largely Muslim region of Xinjiang, were captured in Afghanistan and Pakistan .

The President of Palau, Johnson Toribiong says the men will be given a temporary home, and will receive medical care, training and assessment to help them find work in Palau.
