Two government ministers in Samoa involved in separate car accidents

Samoa's Minister of Education, To'omata Alapati Po'ese, has admitted at the High Dependency Unit at the national hospital as a result of a car accident on Savaii island yesterday.

No information is available from the police at this stage into the cause of the accident.

A nurse at Tuasivi hospital in Savaii says the minister is suffering severe injuries to his legs.

The minister was in Savaii visiting his family and his constituency for the week-end before a rental car he was driving went off the road.

Meanwhile a minor traffic accident on Savaii island has

caused minor injuries to the Minister of Justice and Courts administration, Unasa Mesi Galo.

Both the minister of justice and another driver were treated and discharged from hospital last night
