Solomon Islands police concerned by bogus census forms circulating

10:47 am on 4 December 2009

The Solomon Islands Police and the National Census Commission are now concerned about bogus forms being circulated as part of the country's census.

The forms which are being circulated by unknown persons ask for details on home contents, such as computers, vehicles and other machines.

And the fake forms also ask for detailed information on the people living at the residence and the number of bedrooms in the house.

Officials of the National Census Commission says Honiara residents, especially, must be aware of these impostors as it is obvious they want information to assist them with burglaries.
