A three-member Boundaries Commission has been given six months to determine the constituencies for elections in 11 months time.
The Legislative Assembly voted for such a body last week despite recommendations that the boundary work be undertaken by an independent Electoral Commission.
The body will comprise former judge Gerard Winter, economist Cecil Cocker; and geographer Dr Sione Nailasikau Halatu'itu'ia.
The Commission is to present a report to King George Tupou 5th no later than June 30th next year.
It is to remain in operation until 2014.
