American Samoa's Governor sets up a Document Preservation Task

The American Samoa governor, Togiola Tulafono, has set up a Document Preservation Task Force to work out how to save vital public documents.

It follows the loss and damage to government records in the tsunami at the end of September.

Togiola says the 10-member task force is recommend the best ways for the Government to preserve critical documents.

It will also offer guidance on the restoration of documents and how to avoid such situations in the future.
