There will be a reduction in the number of major cruise liners to visit Suva this year compared to last year.
A member of the Cruise Committee, Pacific Agency's Bradley Bower, told Fiji Village there will be only 55 cruiseliners to call into port compared to 76 last year.
He said this was due to the trickle down effect of the global financial crisis.
