The American Samoa Government has launched the first of two public awareness programmes dealing with the constitution and the territory's political system.
They come ahead of the planned Constitutional Convention in June.
The Governor, Togiola Tulafono, says the discussions aim to help people become more familiar with the history which led to American Samoa becoming a US possession.
The Governor says the Convention is a very important milestone in the territory's history and public input will help pave the future of American Samoa.
