All-Fiji final on the cards in Pacific Rugby Cup

It could be an all-Fiji final in the Pacific Rugby Cup, after the Fiji Warriors beat Tonga's Tautahi Gold 21-13 in Nadi on Tuesday.

The win moves Fiji Warriors into second place on the table, after the Fiji Barbarians went to the top, with a bonus point victory over Upolu Samoa by 36 points to 25.

Warriors assistant coach, Sale Sorovaki, says this was a game they felt they could win, despite Tautahi Gold's previously unbeaten run in the tournament.

"We were prepared for them and we worked on our weaknesses from the last three games and we were happy that we won. We focused more on our ruck areas and they had some pretty good ball carriers and a big fullback who can kick, so we sort of devised plans to counter that."

Sale Sorovaki says they'll go back and watch the video of their match and continue to take it one game at a time.

He says they have one more game left in Sigatoka on Saturday and a win will secure them a place in the grand final.
