Fiji's netball team could be ruled out of the Pacific Cup to be played in the Cook Islands next week.
Fiji Netball has no money and no sponsors and they even cant afford to pay the airfares to the Cooks.
Its Head coach, Una Rokoura, says executives informed the players that their airfares will be paid up on Monday but till today its outstanding and the bookings become null and void today.
Fiji is to face Samoa, Papua New Guinea and the Cooks at the Pacific Cup where the top two sides qualify for the 2011 World Championships.
The Fijian side is expected to fly out this Saturday.
The FNA president, Milika Munivai, says she's hopeful her association will find sponsors and get the funds to send the team to the all important Cooks on Saturday.
