6.3 magnitude earthquake measured south of Fiji

The United States Geological Survey says a 6.3 magnitude earthquake has struck south of Fiji, but no tsunami warning has been issued.

It said the quake was centred 360 kilometres south-west of Fiji.

The quake reportedly struck at 4.30pm local time at a depth of 536 kilometres.
