Air Tahiti Nui boss quits for health reasons

The chairman and CEO of Air Tahiti Nui, Christian Vernaudon, has resigned, saying the move is due to health problems.

Mr Vernaudon has been in charge of French Polynesia's international carrier for two years.

His repIacement for the time being is Michel Rispal.

Mr Vernaudon however remains the Chairman of the domestic airline, Air Tahiti.
