The police in Samoa have charged four men with the death of an American Samoa volley ball player during an inter-Samoa tournament last month.
According to police, the deceased was brutally beaten outside the new Faleata Sports complex at Tuana'imato.
The four appeared in the Supreme Court yesterday but they have yet to enter pleas because they have been given time by the court to seek legal aid.
The case will be heard again on July 26.
