Northern Airways is launching its inaugural Suva to Labasa flight in Fiji tomorrow.
The airline's marketing manager, Dharmendra Vijay, says there's been a good public response and the move is expected to open up competition with airfares.
He says the fare for the 45 minute flight from Suva to Labasa will cost just under 100 US dollars.
The Fiji Times Online reports that the airline is also starting a once a week flight from Suva to Gau on Tuesdays.
