11:55 am on 28 September 2010

A vote to choose Tuvalu's Prime Minister has been delayed by two days, with Parliament now expected to make the decision tomorrow.

The country held its general election the week before last with five new MPs joining ten sitting members.

The nominations for prime minister have closed but the secretary to the Government, Panapasi Nelesoni, says he cannot disclose why the voting has been delayed.
