The production manager of a Samoa company says environmental purity is the main reason a Chinese company wants to import its honey, noni and coffee.

CCK Trading Limited made a presentation to China Made International Limited during the Shanghai Expo earlier this year.

Shayne Sanft says his company hopes to be exporting its products to the Guangzhou company by the beginning of next year.

"We don't have that many factories that emit pollutants to the environment and also we are free from a lot of these, like the honey diseases in Europe and the States, that is the most attractive factor with our products is the cleanness of the environment and the good quality of these products due to these factors."

Shayne Sanft says trade volumes haven't been agreed yet as China Made International Limited is awaiting a permit to import food.
