Vanuatu's cricketers came back to reality on Sunday after incurring a crushing 161 run defeat to Kuwait.
Vanuatu had opened their ICC World Cricket League Division 8 campaign in style with a mammoth win over Bhutan on Saturday but hundreds from Irfan Bhatti and captain Hisham Mirza ensured host nations Kuwait remained unbeaten.
After piling on a phenomenal 401 all out from their turn at bat a strong all-round team bowling effort by the home side restricted Vanuatu to just 240 for 7 from their 50 overs.
Vanuatu's next match is against Suriname on Tuesday.
