MOU being worked on between Fiji and Solomon Islands

10:02 am on 10 November 2010

Solomon Islands and the Fiji government are working on a bilateral technical cooperation agreement.

The Solomon Islands High Commissioner to Fiji says the Memorandum of Understanding will enhance whatever areas or industry that the two countries already have ties in.

Moses Mose says a number of Fiji companies already invest in Solomon Islands and there needs to be a bilateral agreement between the two countries to cater for such investments.

Mr Mose says discussion is already in process for a chancery to be built in Suva, Fiji.
