American Samoa based airline introduces larger aircraft

The American Samoa-based airline, Inter Island Air is introducing its new 30 seater aircraft with two travel packages for visitors from Samoa.

According to the American Samoa Visitors Bureau, the airline expects its new Dornier 328 aircraft to begin flying late this month or early December once final certification by the Federal Aviation Administration is completed.

The plane which arrived in the Territory a year ago, will initially fly to Samoa but there are plans to fly to Tonga, Niue and Fiji.

The airline is offering travellers from Samoa two special packages for 3 days, 2 nights, which will be available from November the first, to the end of June next year.
