Fiji's interim government says China will be funding most of the development works across the country in 2011.
The FBC News quotes the permanent secretary to the Prime Minister's office, Pio Tikoduadua, as saying the work includes the construction of new roads in the north, in Namosi and Naitasiri province.
He says while the interim government is trying its best to develop the country, it needs the co-operation from the people to work with government to build a better Fiji.
