Fiji police say the husband of the 28 year old woman found burned alive on the side of a Waikato road was located last night.
An international search was launched for the husband and the couple's four year old son after the remains of Ranjeeta Sharma were discovered last Thursday night near Huntly.
The New Zealand police have yet to name him but have confirmed he is a person of interest in relation to the homicide enquiry and that Fiji police have located him.
Fiji Police Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri says officers found the woman's husband about midnight last night.
