Police in Samoa have confirmed at least two casualities in flooding, after Cyclone Wilma blew away.

Talamua online reports that one of the victims is an 11 year old boy of Se'ese'e who was playing near a flooded river bank when he was caught in the current.

He was pronounced dead on arrival at the National Hospital.

The body of a young woman from Vaimoso and Fugalei was found around the Vaimoso bridge at around 3.00pm when the river was close to over flowing.

Police are still trying to identify the woman and locate her family.

A third casuality was 18 year old Hale Ili Vaosa of Vailele.

He was among the four youngsters who were swimming in the high seas last Sunday afternoon when Cyclone Wilma was close to Samoa.
