Immigration NZ gives Pacific Islanders extension on residence applications deadline

8:51 pm on 16 February 2011

Immigration New Zealand is giving Pacific Islanders another two weeks to apply for residence in this country under the Samoa Quota or the Pacific Access Category.

Immigration New Zealand has extended the deadline for submissions of all Pacific Quota residence applications until Monday the 28th of February to allow people more time to complete the documentation.

The head of Immigration New Zealand, Nigel Bickle, says the extension is because of low number of applications received.

He says a job offer is a mandatory requirement under the residence policies.
