Police in Port Vila in Vanuatu are investigating the death of young father early on Sunday morning.
Police believed that the man died as a result of an injury to the head.
The man's wife says he'd told her he'd been attacked by a group of men after a drinking party.
She later found him dead in bed.
Police have appealed for the public's help in resolving the case, the second killing in Port Vila this month.
