One of China's top government figures, political advisor, Jia Quinlin, is leading a delegation from his country that arrives in Samoa later today.
The government says the purpose of the visit is to maintain good relationships and collaboration between the two governments of China and Samoa.
Jia Quinlin will be unveiling a plaque to be located at the China-Samoa Agricultural farm at Nu'u during the visit.
The farm is a joint development by the two countries.
Samoa's Prime Minister, Tuila'epa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi, will be meeting the delegation for talks tomorrow.
