Fiji's Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is today expected to make a submission to Cabinet to increase taxi fares.
FijiLive reports the Fiji Taxi Union president, Rishi Ram, saying they've been assured by Mr Sayed-Kahiyum that their grievance will be tabled before cabinet.
Mr Ram says without an increase their businesses will suffer and he predicts the taxi union will collapse.
