Only two candidates have been nominated in the Cook Islands to contest the Pukapuka by-election on June the 7th.
The vacancy follows a court ruling which found that the candidate of the ruling Cook Islands Party, Tekii Lazaro, had committed bribery in the lead-up to his victory last November.
Tekii Lazaro will again stand as the CIP candidate against the Democratic Party's Vai Peua.
