The former Fiji international Isa Nacewa has become the first overseas player to win Irish rugby's Players' Player of the Year award.

The 29-year-old fullback has played 28 matches for Leinster this season, helping the team qualify for the Heineken Cup final against Northampton later this month.

Fiji Rugby Union CEO Keni Dakuidreketi has said that provisional discussions with Nacewa about turning out for Fiji at this year's Rugby World Cup have been promising.
