There are media reports that a former New Zealand police officer has been arrested after a major drugs bust in the Cook Islands.
TVNZ reports that the man, who it says has name supression in the Cooks, is one of 13 people arrested, including a senior Cook Islands police officer.
It says that 11 New Zealand police officers have been on Rarotonga in the past week, investigating corruption and the distribution of cannabis and other drugs.
