French Polynesia's opposition Tahoeraa Huiraatira Party says the assembly president, Jacqui Drollet, should resign over his dispute with two former Tahoeraa Huiraatira assembly members.
The two, Tarita Sinjoux and Madeleine Bremond, have lodged a formal complaint against him for allegedly maligning them publicly.
Mr Drollet has dismissed the allegations which comes amid a row over the allocation of assembly office space.
He has angered the Tahoeraa because he decided to change the locks to their assembly offices after failing to agree with the Tahoeraa members who wanted 16 offices for their nine members.
