A helicopter from the U.S. Navy and a C-130 plane from the U.S. Air Force joined the search yesterday in Saipan in the Northern Marianas for sisters Faloma and Maleina Luhk, who have been missing since mid week.
The Department of Public Safety put up checkpoints to hand out fliers about the missing girls to motorists.
Jermain Quitugua, the mother of the Luhk sisters, said she still hopes to see her daughters alive.
The father of the two girls, a former Saipan police officer is now said to live in Pohnpei in FSM
