The owners of a religious television channel in Samoa, the Graceland Broadcasting Network ,or GBN, has been awarded 150,000 US Dollars in damages following a legal suit.

The money is to be paid by the United States Trinity Broadcasting Network.

Trinity had filed a claim of nearly half a million US dollars, alleging the Samoa network had illegally used its donated broadcasting equipment and channels.

But after a six-year legal battle a court in Samoa has dismissed the claim and awarded damages to GBN.
