Samoa's Under 20 side is one win away from reaching the final of the Junior World Rugby Trophy in Georgia.
The overall winner will be promoted to the elite Junior World Rugby Championship.
Samoa play Russia in their final pool match on Wednesday evening and team manager Sami Leota says, despite comfortable wins over the USA and Uruguay, they can't afford to let their guard down against the Eastern Europeans.
"They played well against the USA and definately put on a big game for the USA. But we're taking every step at a time and we know they're going to come out hard to us because we're doing really well at the moment. In the first game againstr Uruguay they were only starting their tournament but on the second game they were a bit more organised and it's certainly something for us to take into account because everyone gets better as we play this tournament."
