Top seed Daniel Yoo won the Guam Futures event on Sunday after an emphatic 6-4 6-2 victory over Japan's Jun Ito.

The unseeded Ito had never previously made it past the second round of a Futures tournament, and toppled three seeds players to qualify for the final.

Yoo says he's feeling on top of his game right now and will now move on to play Challenger tournaments in China and Japan.

"The first match I think was the toughest one for me because I couldn't hold on to the match but I ended up, you know, pulling it off and then each match I was feeling better and better and today at the final I felt great."

The Korean wants to push for the main draw at grand slam tournaments, which means he needs to improve his ranking from it's current spot in the mid 300s.

My goal is to get into the qualy of the US Open this year. End of the year I try to break top 300 so I'll be able to get in to Australian Open and French Open next year, qualy. I need to be top 300, like about 270-250.
