Airports Fiji Limited will now get shares of the Airport Departure tax
Cabinet has approved the Airport Departure Tax Amendment Regulations 2011 based on a submission by Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Commodore Frank Bainimarama.
The Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority will disburse the 57 US dollar Departure Tax as intended by the government, with 5 dollars to be remitted to Airports Fiji Limited and 51 dollars to be directly remitted to the consolidated fund.
